Baker-Brown was asked to take part in a three-day symposium hosted for The UK's Major Projects Association (MPA) Membership of MPA comprises organisations engaged in a wide variety of commercial and public enterprises. They operate in a wide variety of fields including: manufacturing, construction, defence, transportation, IT, government departments, consultancies and law, as well as those engaged in the academic study of major projects.

Baker-Brown took part in their ‘pitch perfect’ session. He was one of five panelists -- Gilli Hobbs, Judith Sykes, Alistair Blackmore, Professor Naomi Brookes, Each speaker had five minutes to present ideas from their experience or research that will help the major projects community deliver sustainable development and circular economy outcomes. Delegates included representatives of some of the largest construction companies in the UK and beyond; companies delivering projects such as HS2, Cross Rail, etc.
