The Drawing Research Group in conjunction with the Drawing, Health and Wellbeing strand of the Centre for Arts and Wellbeing warmly invites you to a symposium, A day of drawing: exploring drawing as method in research and practice, taking place on 29th March in Grand Parade, City Campus.
Co-run workshop with Zoe Boden-Stuart: Dialogues in Drawing: Exploring Embodied Practice. Principal Lecturers Vanessa Marr and Zoe Boden-Stuart each use embodied drawing in their research practice, Marr as an auto-ethnographer and artist, Boden-Stuart as a psychologist and psychotherapist. This practical workshop explores the cross-sections of their work through conversation and practical activities that invite you to explore the role of the body in drawing, in response to memory, space, and felt experience.
